Second Thought
Second Thought
I often hear that the consequences
Are followed by the decisions
We make, we follow
But nothing less than the results
Clipped between an argument
Fought amongst the brain and heart
And then it comes
The second thought...
A peaceful mind crashes and crumbles
Another fight, another war
In this midst of chaos befallen
A real black knight arches its might
Over and over to be beware
To sustain such pressure
That's why we need
The second thought...
A small ripple, a delicate ripple
To cause a disastrous tornado
I wish I couldn't ponder
And so wouldn't wonder
My difficult mind to travel miles
In search of an unbridled answer
To think about
The second thought...
A hooded shadow bellows
So my surreal mind wavers
Between nothing and one thing
And sometimes everything
A difficult quest and many more answers
A road to our choice
To decide our own virtues and vices
The second thought...
