Some despise me

They loath seeing me

Others look at me with pride

No matter how hideous I will be.

Don't hide me

We are one for life

Show me off

I am not something rife.

Vandalism or Art?

I may go away one day

But I don't always depart.

I was with you at your hardest times

But do be careful

For many think, I cursed these times

When in reality, I teach you.

I teach you to be cautious

Teach you to be brave

I remind you to never

Make the same folly again
