"A Damsel but not in distress", she is,

A Queen in the peninsula of happiness and peace;

After all, it was her only way to find solace,

In those deep mysterious eyes camouflaged the secret none could trace;

With the wisdom and virtues of wise his love has never been momentary,

"The daughter of Mountain" is how everyone proclaimed her to be;

He's been an epitome of love, strength, grace and valor,

All of which as a legacy bestowed on her, she would now harbor;

Her true solitaire, she missed him deeply,

With an only wish for things to curl back swiftly;

With every curve on her lips she would hide the tear,

Just the way her faraway look would shield the fear;

A Wish! If she could wake up from this as a nightmare,

To celebrate and requite at least the love and care;

All she wanted to say was, "I Love you",

Before the canopy of things made her say, "I Miss you";

With a vow to remain the soul he nurtured and adored,

She strives to be a warrior until they unite at heavenly abode;

Saudade is a beautiful portuguese word for a feeling of melancholy and happiness.

It is the loving memory of someone or something you loved ,the sadness of knowing it can't get back or is lost but at the same time its the happiness that atleast you had it.

It's the bittersweet pain of a longing unassuaged.
