Ruins

Ruins

As the song floats by,

In the stillness of the ruins;

History unwinds,

Ragas of life being sung;

Brings back the splendor.

If life is worth living,

Something meaningful must be done;

And in history, it should find an imprint.

In today's life, we leave behind only;

Destruction-

Ruins of a different kind.
