Root Of Insecurities

Our minds are wrapped with self-doubts,

They carry the bags of hesitancy.

Alas! They have no remorse.

I try hard to jostle them to the inner cabins,

But they keep on springing back.

Are they growing back from roots?

What needs to be done to prevent it?

Escaping from the dark alleys,

It is more of a challenge.

It's a whole bunch of goofy pranks,

The mind plays without solid reasons.

We are terrified of our own failures,

Ever ready to put the blame on others.

We are clearly not confident,

Uncertain of steps that rise from the core.

The explosion of words creates a harsh cry.

What surfaces from beneath are not perfect!

They emerge abruptly,

On many days they lead us to confusion.

Alas! They are only vast predicaments.

Aggressive style is not ejected instantly,

Look, it's not our inherited nature.

We are neither domineering,

Nor prejudiced from birth.

It is the covering of our deep-felt hurt.

We head to disdain all around us,

Do not spare even the generous people,

They are also painted black.

Insecurities hang around all the time,

We have to eliminate them from the source,

We cannot allow them to drown us.

The seed of skepticism crawl slowly,

They try to suffocate our thoughts.

Jealousy instantly slays us,

We must eradicate them at the earliest.

People's judgments scare our minds,

It is not easy to listen to hurtful words.

The insecurities show our inner disturbance,

And the uncertainty about the person.

Stay away from doubt and resentment.

We are already fighting our own battle,

Do we have strength for another?

We must respect ourselves,

Raising our self-evaluation.

We need to stop self-condemning,

May it be the next step!

Have we learned to love ourselves?

Can we achieve it flawlessly?

Without wasting a second?

Enjoying with self must be our motto.

There needs a barricade to block the way,

For the pettiest uncertainties to enter.

We have to remind ourselves,

Relentlessly of our uniqueness,

Not to get disturbed by others.

Look at the trees & learn,

How they stand upright?

They do not pay heed to the time,

Nor to the season.

Accept the blemishes and faults of own,

So that it will be rectified with hands stretched.

Be brave like a fighter,

Do not get ruled by dubiousness.

Believing in ourselves is not easy,

But it is the only way to retain security in life.

We should dream without misgiving.

We can be identified without arrogance.

We need to be happy without judgment.

We must learn to trust without vanity.

We ought to love without losing our identity.

We have to live without hidden insecurities.

Wipe out the fear of failing in life,

That we confront every waking moment.

We should clean our minds daily,

Restrict the movement of thoughts.

Axe the root of unhappiness from time to time,

Can we stop watering it with self-pity?

Our miseries will leave one by one,

Our minds will be freed to grasp more.

New horizons are waiting for us,

We will fly light,

Leaving the bag of insecurities.
