River of Life
River of Life
Rain gives birth to one current, one direction.
A river with no return,
For miles it meanders, perennial or naught,
Resting only unto its destination adjourn,
Lest this river fool you. Rain fuels its satiety; brings emotions distraught.
She’s mother to all matter and beings,
She’s home, recreation and elementary,
She’s oft’ battered and bruised for others well-being,
But She purses her lip and steadfast She remains. Merged with the rudimentary.
A conduit for the spirit to drift into thy ocean,
Grief finds peace and solace. Whilst the departed ascend to the maker,
This river too, is destined for promotion
And need not lose its identity. But embrace becoming the ocean in God’s acre.
So long as we know, that we know, unto our maker we All shall go
, So long we shall live, giving life to thee and fear not, what we know.
