A Reverie of My Enchanted Home
A Reverie of My Enchanted Home
Lost in the city's cold, concrete embrace,
I yearn for mother nature's warm, tranquil grace.
Away from the angst that clutches my heart,
I dream of a life where worries depart.
Grown weary of life's ceaseless race,
I long to escape to a serene, quiet place.
Where the rustling leaves are my lullaby,
And the starlit skies are canopy high.
In the green wonderland I'll find my retreat,
Where all my troubles will concede defeat.
No more will I fret for the ones I hold dear,
For the caress of the wilderness will calm all my fear.
Like a carefree little girl, I will dance with glee,
Amongst the meadows and beneath the trees.
No more of the city's noise and strife,
Just the melody of the thicket with abundant life.
Oh, to be free from the weight on my chest,
To live by the rhythms that the soul knows best.
I'll find my solace in streams that flow,
And let the love in my heart's garden grow.
No longer lost in the crowd's distant gaze,
I'll find my belonging in nature's embrace.
With a spirit unfurled, I will be reborn
Finding refuge in my enchanted new home...
