Repentance
Repentance
I quit, I quit, I quit,
Smoke from heart's cigarette
Yells at my frustration.
Failure heckles again
And
My repentance is grilled.
Through the window,
I see my past
Brooding over my carelessness
And sloth.
Today I suffer,
Today I try umpteen times
But my knowledge takes revenge
And I fail miserably.
Yes,
I regret, I regret,
But failure shows no mercy,
Society mocks at me
And
I cry in anguish.
Black clouds drop rain
And
My tears mingle with it selfishly
And
I remain stranded.
