Remember When

I remember,

Wanting to grow old

Excitement inside, a story untold

I craved to see life to the fullest

And the idea of being an adult,

Sounded the best

But now that I have grown,

And have what I wanted

There exists a vast void inside my heart

It misses older days which had a unique charm

It misses how home was always warm

Being an adult, surviving each day

Emptiness continue to linger in my mind

And it long for days once so bright
