Like a rudderless boat caught up in the waves of social media sea

I get tossed up 

Success, wealth, unicorns, fame

I have none of it what a shame?

I latch on to the words to save myself

From drowning in life, floods of thoughts recede

I have washed ashore, my mind feeling sore

The verses created provide some solace

In the mirror, I come face to face

With the image of self, why have?

Let me be content to be one among the billions, who brave it

In life, just to live itself does suffice

No need for any suffix.

The storm has ceased, ceasefire it is 

In the battle-torn mind, 

Finally a semblance of peace

Released at last, I am not in any bind.
