Regulus

Regulus

You always ask why i named you Regulus

Amongst any other famous stars in the skies.

Now may i ask for you to gaze above

Mapped constellations through your fingertips

Till our eyes meet at the constellation of Leo.

If you would ask why i labeled you like that

Darling, that is the name of the lion's heart.

But the name is more than just love and beyond.

It's the brightest star in your zodiac constellation

Just like your most shimmering smiles above all.

And most of all, you are the harbinger of spring

Who crept higher in the skies only the month of April.

Now may i ask the universe —

Is it destiny that April is the month i was born.

Days that you, my Regulus, are in your highest form.

The days you bring spring, a new season of hope too.
