Red

When I get dressed in Red

Why are all eyes

Glued like I am their prey?

I wear Red lipstick

For I like the colour

Not because I want to raise your sexual desires

I drape in Red to look beautiful

Not because I want to allure you

When I have Red on

All the old minds start spinning

For they think Red is meant for the married

I am independent yet single

And yes I wear Red

I don’t need to tie up with somebody

To save my soul and exist with Red

For Red is the colour of LOVE not LUST!
