I am hope

I knock on everyone’s door

I reside in the voids you create within

Sometimes I dwell in your heart, but hidden

You can call me out any time of the day

I can float up and sprinkle myself away

I’m unswayed — everyone can seek me

But alas! Only a few welcome me

You can use me as a gift for your dearies

I am the most in the places where fear is

You’ll recognize me when I’ll pass you by

I will appear when you’ll close your eyes

Think of me as a little seed, gradually

Outgrowing your body with my glow

I wear a golden light, without a shape

I just keep moving with the flow

I am immortal and always within

You can’t escape me, good luck tryin’

Don’t worry, I won’t go away

No matter how much you say

I will be knocking on your door

More and more each day

I’ll be there even when your shadow elopes
