My poems are funny,

They don’t want

To conquer your mind

But cuddle your heart

So that you know

You aren’t alone

When words tremble

In the abyss of love

So, let your heart

Take the lead

While reading these words,

Because what your mind

May not see,

The heart will hear

Even on a whisper

And once the heart gets a taste,

The mind will see the stars

Between these lines,

And a hint of a moon will appear-

On a bright new page

Even though it may disappear

From your life
