Wordless Poetry
Wordless Poetry
You took my heart
I didn’t say a word
You seized my sanity
We still had a special affinity
You made me cry a river
I stood up and built a bridge
You left a hole in my soul
I stitched it with our eternal memories
You pushed me off the cliff
I learnt how to fly
But I can never recuperate
From what you did today —
You emptied my heart
By taking my words away
Even though I still recognize
The verses and the rhymes
I am just left with my
Feelings — uncombined
Now all I have is
some painless pain
a state of mind-fullness
and my wordless poetry.
