Queen of the lands
Queen of the lands
A short old woman hurried through the woods.
I began following her realizing her to be a mystery.
She wore some really old clothes shrouded in dust,
And seemed to me like a ficus tree.
Astounded I was by her speed.
She raced through the streams and the rocks and the pebbles,
Moved about the place so neat,
I felt her rhythm to be really sweet.
My confusion increased when she entered a small hut
Shrouded in the same dust as hers.
Seemed to me it might be her home.
But then appeared she in a gown very nicely cut.
I wondered and gazed at her in awe.
Was she the same lady I had seen some time prior?
She seemed to me like a mystery herself,
I decided to follow her further in her pursuit.
Further she moved through the citylights and the sparkles,
I wondered at her confidence and charm so cool,
I was never so very amazed by any lady,
Than I was by this wonderful old granny.
I saw her then entering a mansion.
With all its grandeur the tallest trees bowing in front of it,
I mused and thought hard about the fact,
Which could have taken her from rags to the riches!
I sneaked into the palace.
Yes I misguided the security,
And then was laid before me a sight,
Which I wondered if it really gave me a fright?
This old granny was the queen of the lands,
And of the oceans and the mountains and the skies,
From the roof of her palace seemed to rise,
A golden aura beaming right upto the skies.
Oh goodness was this real!
I had seen the queen of the world,
What if now someone catches me?
Thinking this I fled away from everyone's sight
I felt being on the top of the world,
And in the seventh heaven above the world so high.
Yes I am singing the twinkle rhymes.
The sun now seemed to me like a sweet lime,
TRING rang the alarm scaring me out of my wits!
Ohhh so this was a dream I cried,
But that was beautiful thought I
And appeared suddenly before me again the queen of the lands.
