Lonely and alone with many days to go

Touch the wrong way up, find ourselves 

In CORONA’s quick, deadly embrace;

Why do we take unnecessary risks?


On TV news, keep watching the figures

>While the curves go wild, see her smile

screen growls, messages say; lockdown.

Snap her chains, she loathes our guts.


Why hate the Chinese, we acted dumb;

Virus rubs, while we twiddle our thumb!
