Life is little away from dusk.

Resting for a while to look back

When the heart bloomed as a flower

Time just flew by under the tree.

Alas, we could get those days back.

Now eroded chip by chip

Vulnerable to dark silence.

If, at all, I could stop it from breaking

I could have stopped all the pain.

My life would not be vain.

In the twilight of life

Till today, I think of you, my beloved.

I behold your picture in my heart

Draw you daily on my memory canvas

Listen to your voice in solitude.

That’s the way I’ll walk into dark night

Waiting ahead in the horizon.

I’m no Bilhana, my poetry will melt the cruelest heart.

The gift of love falls into my palm.

Life will be rosy again after long separation.
