Precious Time...

It's the time that gets passed us

within a snap of our fingers,

The time we never wanted to end to

the time we desperately wanted to get out from,

It all ends when it needs to

before we even realize it,

It all ends when it needs to

before we even start to appreciate the same,

Many of us waste time thinking

of what we can do,

or what we want to do,

We dream of situations

that could be our reality,

but rely on time to see

if we can make it happen,

Time is all we have left

to do things that we know we can do,

and seize the opportunities that it brings,

It's like a game sometimes

that is played to test ourselves

not to compete with others,

but to compete and compare ourselves,

how much we were able to do each day,

We fail to realize how important it is

to live life moment by moment,

We worry about our future so much

that we never live our present the same,

The happiness we seek lies

in every moment we spend,

Moments we spend with our friends and loved ones,

Moments we spend reaching our daily goals each day,

Time is all that we have left with us,

but it is limited too,

We need to make the best use

of each moment to better ourselves,

For every second that passes by,

is the past we can't change,

but learn from it to do better in future...
