An old blind man was sitting on a busy street corner on the footpath and he was begging for money. It was the rush hour. He was sitting with a cardboard and an empty tin cup. On a cardboard sign, next to an empty tin cup, he had written, “BLIND PLEASE HELP!” No one was giving him any money. A young advertising writer was passing from the same street and saw a blind man with a sign board and an empty tin cup. She also noticed that there are many people who are passing by without noticing the old man. She felt bad for the blind man and wanted to help him. The Advertising writer thought for a while and soon she got an idea. She took out her thick marker pen from her pocket, turned the cardboard sheet from back to front and rewrote the sign board. She put some money in the tin cup and went on her way. In no time, people began putting money into the tin cup. After a while, the old man realized that his tin cup was filling very fast. When the tin cup was overflowing, the blind man asked a stranger, “Can you read this sign board for me?” The stranger was a good man and so he agreed to read it. The stranger read, “It says, ‘IT’S A BEAUTIFUL DAY, YOU CAN SEE IT! I CANNOT!'”

Reflect in life and am sure you will agree how important choice of words and language is when we want to truly connect with people. Remember words move hearts and hearts move limbs because kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless. Don't mix bad words with your bad mood. You'll have many opportunities to change a mood, but you'll never get the opportunity to replace the words you spoke. The irony of life is a picture can speak a thousand words, but a single word can paint you a thousand pictures. Human tongue is a beast that few can master even though the tongue has no bones it's strong enough to break several hearts be mindful of your words and just taste them before spilling them out. Let's go ahead on life and never forget words are free. It's how we use them that may cost us because once they are said, they can be only forgiven, never forgotten.*
