Poetry Or Prose
Poetry Or Prose

I wish we could converse
Like stars stir to the language of universe
I dream our dreams could get some sleep
Not wake us up in a perplexing sweep
If only we could comprehend the prose
In my subdued silence and yours
If only we could stop wasting time
In trying to translate our spirits entwined
Let me save thee from this convoluted curse
Let me gift to thee the magic of poetry and verse
Words strung together, trying to rhyme
With the wayward rhythm of my heart and thine.
