Plant Of Memories
Plant Of Memories
When you live,
You live on the ground.
When you leave,
You live in the sky.
So I look up at the sky,
To know where you went.
No, you can’t be a star,
As your lights bound no limits.
Not a moon either,
As your shine is by you.
You could’ve been a sun,
But your warmness soothes, not burns.
But you shine like a star.
Guides like a moon,
Stays like a sun.
Where you are?
I searched everywhere, and get defeated.
At last, I sigh, wry and cry.
In my tears, your face shines.
Then I realise,
You gave me a plant of memories,
To cherish, to nurture, to care.
I plant in soul soil,
To water the roots deep within me,
And to be with you-- forever.
