PERFECT?

There is nothing and no one who is perfect, that’s a fact,

There are no exceptions infact,

I know that I have hurt you, but I didn’t mean to do that,

You mean a lot to me and I’m sorry from the bottom of my heart,

I really mean that.

The cause of sorrow and pain is expectations,

We all have our flaws and sometimes that tears apart someone’s expectations,

I know that you are not angry but you were really sad,

I couldn’t be as good as you expected, but I didn’t mean to hurt you,

No, I didn’t mean to hurt you and that’s a fact.

We all make mistakes and that’s what makes us humans infact,

When we realize our mistakes, we sit and cry on our mom’s lap,

But if we realize our mistakes and correct them, we feel better and not sad,

And I surely don’t want to regret that.

So I’m sorry but I’m not perfect,

I know you already have forgiven me but writing an apology poem is worth it,

I know you got hurt but I beg you to forget it,

And I’m really sorry, I hope you get it.
