Monish and Udu

Oh, my best friends if not brothers,

Monish and Udu,

No one understands me more than both of you,

You both and another person are really helping me,

Fix my heart with duct tape and glue.

I won’t reveal the another person’s name,

Because I don’t think she is comfortable with that,

But if you are reading this,

Yes, you are one of my best friends,

And I don’t mean to hurt you,

But this poem is dedicated to Monish and Udu.

Every single day in school,

I used to always talk to both of you,

I have shared all my secrets,

And I have got no regrets.

A traitor in our friends always tries to turn me against both of you,

But I don’t even talk to him because he is only here to get his work done,

Total opposite of both of you.

Don’t worry, Believe me,

No one in my best friends,

Is closer to me more than both of you,

The traitor only gets his work done,

Then hurts me like, shoot me with a gun,

Hey traitor, If you are reading this,

I’m not ever gonna talk to you,

And hey Monish and Udu,

I always stand with both of you.

You both are always on my side,

Together we will face the tide,

These words come right from my heart,

Writing instructions given by my mind.

You both are always on my side,

Together one day, we will finish our grind.
