People Change

It is sad how times change, and people too,

All the things they say, aren't true.

When you know that there's nothing called a forever,

And you can't go back, never.

When you become less important for someone suddenly,

The reality of the world at that time, you see.

It is strange how its normal,

For them to be just formal,

To the person you valued the most.

That spark, alas! you lost.

Yes, its good to be you sometimes,

But not when you lose your shine.

Whatever the circumstances maybe,

How can you forget your buddy?

The one you called your favourite, 

The one you loved to hate.

This, my friend, isn't fair,

You act like you never cared.

I was someone for you back then,

Now I am Noone all of a sudden.

You don't have time from your busy day,

Where I always happen to find a way.

It's hurting me inside,

Knowing that you aren't standing by my side.
