Piece of peace they say, they want to keep

Each of them expects only others to work hard to keep

All they say is that it’s the need of the hour and does not come cheap

Come to think of it they do nothing, even if it’s in their power to leap

Easily they preach they want to keep it, but saying is not enough to reap

Believe it or not, it can become a game of few wrong heads

Easily it can become a puppet in few wrong pair of hands

Angry, ego and greed burn down piece by piece, humanity to ashes

together let’s not get our world morphed into a ball of destruction with clashes

 

Practice not just preach, so hold dandiya in hands and get decked up for festivity 

each of us let’s dance the Garba on lyrics of purity

add to it a rhythmic heartbeat full of love and dignity

coming together let’s show how peace is part of this day of Navaratri
