Silences
Silences
In silences, some souls seek solace and peace, but others find prey to exploit and cease,
To respect the quiet, the stillness within, they take advantage, their own gain to win.
With every word unspoken, they pounce and devour, leaving the meek one drained, their spirits cowed,
For in their eyes, the silent ones are weak, easy targets for their selfish streaks.
Oh, how they twist and manipulate with guile, using words as weapons, causing endless trial, and when the victim speaks out, they feign in surprise, as if they never knew, their hearts not wise.
But the truth is clear, it's plain to see, that in their greed, they cannot be free
From the shackles of their own design, a prison made of lies, thinning down the other's deadline.
So let us cherish those who find their voice, and stand up against the ones who choose to prey on silence, and bring them low, lest we all fall victim to their woe.
