Saffron for courage, peace in White, and faith of Green

In three colors lies India’s extreme PRIDE,

"Jan Gan Man" of the people’s heart and mind

In three words we find our soulful GUIDE,

Of the people, by the people, for the people

In three phrases united we live and ABIDE,

The Air force, the Army and the Navy

India’s three formidable forces, can turn any TIDE

With the lions, the abacus, and the lotus in our emblem

Is "Satyameva Jayate" so that the spirit of truth is APPLIED,

Golden, Green, White and many more revolutions

Came, as India gave resources, that have never DRIED,

AIIMS, IIMs, IITs and many more, the India’s icons

With which we could make greater stride after STRIDE,

For many decades and shoulder to shoulder

Patriots have marched, ahead & firm, side by SIDE,

Bathed in sheer sweat and blood,

Their grit and determination that nothing could HIDE,

Not the loudness of voice, not the aggression of choice

Nor anyone who may be BLUE EYED,

Patriots of modern India are those daring

Whose zeal to achieve has never ever DIED,

For the joy of giving and dreams they were living

Nothing could pause, however hard one TRIED,

The patrons of mother India toiled through times

For the waves of change they could create and RIDE,

United we stand in hope, humanity and honor of the country

Patriots of modern India, saves all from a fall of DIVIDE,

May in joy of Independence Mother India is placed first

And in TRICOLOR pride our hearts always must remain DYED.
