Passion

The world shouts out Fuel you passion in isolation,

I fear it’s a massive resolution!

Immersed in demands of life throughout,

I don’t know what I am passionate about!

I let myself believe Passion is not significant for me,

After all, I am an ordinary person you see!

To pursue a passion needs time and devotion

I wonder what I will get out of such dedication!

Why should I care as I don’t make a buck out of it?

And hence I overlooked the emptiness without it!

I got my answer when I met a man in his eighties,

Living his life with great dignity!

All he did was pursued his passion

And life paid him with the right compensation!

Passion needs daily dedication of your mind

And silently takes you away from your daily grind!

Passion calms you through your lean time,

Giving comfort that’s divine!
