Reassurance

The waves of despair come and go

They say another wave is yet to show!

 

Cooped up in my home I ponder what I will do when I get to go out

Will life be the same? I doubt!

 

The terrifying graphs never break my heart

As I do my best not to be a part!

 

The economy is on a roller-coaster ride but

 I still live in my modest dwelling with pride!

 

As I don't need a fortune to be happy

 just the smell of my children in their room made sloppy!

 

With each wave coming as we play the hide and seek game,

 I look forward to reassurance that the world is still the same!

 

Reassurance is easy for me to find, the smell of fresh vegetables from local store,

Provides the contentment that it's not online anymore!

 

An auto rickshaw on the lonely road catches my sight and it gives me unusual delight!

 

Reassurance from the fragrance of plumeria in my campus

That reminds me of time spent with pals was momentous!

 

We will sail the waves of uncertainty be brave as almighty is there to save.
