PAINFUL MEMORIES........

PAINFUL MEMORIES........

It doth perturb the tranquil hours of solitude

The painful thoughts of my grandma

Each visitation doth weaken my spirits

with stifled pang and pain

Fettered and shackled by memories of moments shared

Often do I wonder how she’s being choked by the darkness of the grave

But she doth answer me by a vision apparelled in celestial light

The heavenly bliss which rules her in the divine world

But left us bereaved, with the recurring painful thoughts

In a vain endeavor to lift the smothering weight off my heart

Diverge my thoughts to the blissful future moments.
