Untethered.
Untethered.
Above the stream, I hovered and clawed a ripple.
Gliding along the rime fields in dawn,
I greeted an old peasant and stippled.
But the time comes, when the sun sets and
I fell from a heaven on to the brittle green grass.
hapless and shuddered, I could no longer flap.
Wind hustled and leaves rustled as others sang.
But I fell from a heaven and I was trapped.
