Our Love

She is sugar and spice,

And utterly fearless and adorably nice.

She is a tough nut to crack,

And so not amused when we play on her any prank.

With so much in her head and hand, 

Chances of confusion are not in her command.

She does take a lot of time to decide,

And is frisky when taken for a ride.

She sits with her nose hugging the floor,

 When not happy and doesn’t ask for more.

She loves to hear our gossip and our talk,

And wisely nods her agreement when we take her for her walk.

 Guarding us is her passion, 

Does it with lots of aggression.

Generally she is so very curious,

But around the children, she is very anxious.

Caring for us her family, till she will get old,

Believe you me, for us, she is more than her weight in gold.
