Ordinary And Routine

I've been thinking about

The patience, forgiveness even,

Of spiders in my apartment

Just the other day, all I did was

Take my car out: A seemingly

Ordinary and routine activity

That led to the loss of a home,

For that spider.

And this happened every day...

One day, I stopped to ask

'Doesn't it bother you? That a seemingly

Ordinary and routine act of mine

Leads to the loss of your home...'

The spider said,

'Yes, it does. But it is an

Ordinary and routine act

For me to rebuild'.
