Only Time Can Tell
Only Time Can Tell
What happens, I wonder,
When all is achieved—
When poverty has ceased,
And peace has flourished.
When life flows without threat,
Where choices come without regret,
When relationships bloom without hate,
And civilizations blossom like flowers.
Why would one act?
For what would one act?
For whom would one act?
And how would one act?
Would life become a hedonistic trip?
Or would it become a work of art?
Would friendship rule—or narcissism?
Only time can tell.
Only time can tell.
