Oh, Superstition!!
Oh, Superstition!!

Oh, superstition, thou charming art,
How you weave illusions in the human heart!
With your omens and signs, you enchant the mind,
Blindly leading the foolish, the ignorant, and the blind.
Crossing paths with black cats, oh what a fright!
As if a feline's presence could bring eternal night.
Broken mirrors, ladder's rung, and number thirteen,
Are they truly harbingers of ill fate, or just a dream?
Step on a crack, break your mother's back,
What nonsense is this,
a wicked attack?
Four-leaf clovers and horseshoes of luck,
Oh, how they make fortunes swiftly duck!
Umbrellas indoors, oh the horror, the dread,
As if opening them brings doom upon our heads.
Walking under ladders, tempting fate's wrath,
Who knew climbing equipment held such a deadly path?
Superstition, a charlatan's delight,
Exploiting fears and casting a blinding light.
Let reason prevail, let the wisdom shine through,
For in truth and knowledge, we find what is true.
