Oh Dear God
Oh Dear God
A flock of rain drops,
Dropped down from the heavens of Mawlynnong, and doused me in a chill cover.
I was in the God's own garden,
Breathing the elegance and beauty of the village roads, the lush green thicket and the flowing rivers.
Only did I reach my home in the city, did I see a heap of funky garbage, by the side of the city road, over which swarmed a plague of filth flies.
I was at my home,
Resenting the littered roads, the clogged drains and the dead rivers.
Oh Dear God,
how I wish to return to Mawlynnong.
