Oh Boy!

Oh Boy!

On a tranquil evening, a kid plays with his pups mane,

watching the splendid sunset from his windowpane.

Being oblivious despite his ebullient play schedule

he sits in a cosy corner and reveries whence the existence seeded.

A torpid bird quiescently taps on his window, sighing him to open it.

The meek kid innocently cicerone the bird into his warm room.

Soon the pup thwarts his hand tremulously, aware of the near diluvial moment.

The kid doesn’t bat an eye deeming it as a frivolous deed.

In no time the bird started growling loud and unfolded its pernicious wings,

with the eyes of Thanatos, the bird stung the kid with its muzzle and flew him to the necropolis.

Witnessing this malevolent act,

the pup weeps vicariously regretting his master’s decision.

He would have warned about this egregious bird beforehand if only he could talk.

Mea culpa! The acquiescent pup thought to itself, about the past.
