Ocean Calling Out My Name

Ocean Calling Out My Name

Ocean calling out my name,

When the tide went out each evening

Waves are tugging at the ankle,

As they pooled around feet

whispering of darkness,

Like an arid world.

The lively tone of voice,

Came to mine

Pulled me close

Untethered my wings

Into the sky

To dream enormous

Inside my anxious chest

I feel free here

And to have a universe

You said,

Yess, you are worthy of all this.

You made sure,

I'll open my eyes with exquisite

Without praying for it

The night before.
