Noir

We all are in the noir genre 

Sitting somewhere in the corner 

To capture ourselves 

For the sake of media realm 

We don't know why 

But we do comply 

Our actions show moral ambiguity.

We forget to count the time 

But remember to count the views and likes 

Waiting for comments

Like our life depends on them 

We are in noir.

We are together 

Still so far away from each other

We have time for those thousand people

Who do not even care about us

But we can't even spare milliseconds

For our family except for capturing

While putting on a fake smile 

For those thousand people

We are in the world of noir.

When the noir side appears 

No one can bear

It leads to mulligrubs 

And starts killing people 

We are so into this surreal world 

We don't know who we are

We have forgotten the real us

We are living as the reel us 

Once we enter the noir 

We are trapped in its spell.
