Never Fear Dying

If notions of dying make you afraid 

Never perceive dying as something to dread.

It occurs to all individuals, just as birth 

Was used to put you on this earth.

As intrinsic as being born,

It will come to light in eve or morn.

For you, 'twill be quite easy and painless'

Just believe in God, and in Him rest.

Your times are in His hands, He says

He knows the figure of your days.

And when your time on earth is done,

Your soul home to Him will run.

Just as an infant, with God's assist 

Knows when it's time to evacuate the womb

For you, dying's journey will be like

A move into another room.
