Mystery
Mystery
When I opened the book,
I expected to find a story.
But instead, I found a portal
To a dimension, I'd never seen before.
Where time stands still
As I am completely absorbed
In the story unfolding before me
The characters come to life
I saw my doppelganger,
And creatures both magical and mundane.
But seems nobody sees me,
Not my own shadow.
It's like nothing else exists but this mystery.
Lives were being lived and secrets were being kept.
There was love and hate and everything in between.
It was a world of comedy and tragedy,
Of paradox and reality.
And I was drawn in,
unable to resist its pull.
Who knows what secrets this world holds?
What adventures lie in store?
I can't wait to find out,
But I may never return.
