My pain brings my soul to your doorstep
You stand at threshold to open the door
There was a time I ruled in you in entirety 
Now begging for your warmth embrace
You have gone far leaving behind things 
Me walking lonely on thorny pathways 
Thoughts of you just can't unite us again 
My heart chords strike to form a melody 
With words of heart I resign at your feet
Like a little bird caught in a starry night
Drop in on me at this hour of obscurity .
