My Solitude
My Solitude
I’m caught in the answer of refuting.
I do myself no favors,
Confining myself to shadows,
And cloaking in afterthoughts.
I linger where nobody could see me
Whilst longing to be discovered.
I will blend with the rest of the world
And watch as everyone passes me by.
I will go unseen, unheard, and undetected
Almost as if, I’m not there,
Not occupying a single bit of space,
Making no waves in the fabric of fate,
I shall not leave my mark,
I shall not bend the Earth to my way,
I'll not imprint myself on you, instead
I will embrace my solitude.
