MY SECOND LOVE

She came in seeking no approval,

Like the seasons uninvited,

When an affable touch was yearned the most.

Even when my calm sea was serene.

I knew not her presence

Slowly, my heart throbbed for something unknown

Giving me no sign of its inner longings.

Utter confusion shrouded my convictions

Leaving me in stark dilemma.

Time led us to an exotic union

That was hardly envisaged

Leaving us in bliss uninterrupted

Making us roots entangled 

Fogs and clouds encircle often

Thunderous days follow sunny dawns

But in spite of dingy nights, union was thirst for

As dry land thirsting for water 

Life witnesses all shades of season

From winter to summer and always ends in
