Thanks, Lord, I am here to see

Blessed, allowed, and a beginner to be

Because I shall start the new year’s life’s run

Rivers of Ethiopia, singing on the mount

Jumping, falling, and passes in the forest

All are happy to the new year celebration

Grasses, daisies, roses, and light

The hayfield is so flawless and is green

I wished to be a child to gambol on it again

The last year was new at the start

And old at the end last night

Added an increment of age on me

Thanks, Lord, in this morning I filled with hope

The next is as the previous with challenges to cope

I will put all my endeavors in my future destiny.
