My Journey Of Life..

My Journey Of Life..

2 mins
14.5K

I look ahead, I see a path,

All wounded up but so clear.

I walk and walk,

The road seems to be endless,

But still my steps do not stop,

And my walk continues.

My steps are small,

I take them one after another

But I do not give up.

I walk ahead,

I come across a twist,

The road takes a turn.

The turn looks difficult to cross,

But I do not stop

And continue to walk ahead.

My feet are now tired,

And I am running short of breath.

I feel strained and drained,

A terrible ache strikes my back,

I want to sit down,

I want to relax for sometime.

But the road ahead of me

Keeps pulling me towards itself

And I am dragged into it.

I know I can’t stop,

And so I walk ahead.

I now see some thorns,

And then there are more ahead.

I drift my feet away,

For they may prick my feet.

But then I know I need to move ahead.

I see a light,

So bright and clear,

Shinning right ahead of me.

I spread my arms to reach the light,

It pulls me towards itself,

And I walk again, walk and walk.

The thorns pricks my feet,

I see the blood and my heart starts to sink.

But I know I can’t let in sink,

I know I have to move ahead,

I know I have to walk ahead and walk fast.

I see the light,

It’s there right ahead of me,

I get to see the reflection,

Of my destination that was long sought.

It’s right there ahead of me,

A feeling of fulfillment starts to surround me.

I know my journey has been good,

All the sweat that I have shed,

Would soon help me to reach my goal,

So I once again look ahead,

And continue to walk.
