My Freedom

Normal relationship hiccups, 

Oh no! If so would have endured, 

Bickerings were never ending, 

Never ending trash, 

Exasperating nights and days. 

After life-long frustrations, 

Quitting my routine life, 

Decisions hard to make, 

Yet clear was my mind. 

Dignity bad mouthed, 

Every wound had a narration behind, 

Left indelible scar in my heart, 

I survived!! 

Yet my freedom wasn't far away, 

Yes, I reset my boundries. 

I had the power to reform, 

To revive, 

I had the courage to face the stumblings, 

Walking away itself needs wisdom, 

I was brave enough to walk away with grace, 

My conscience asked me to quit,

Quit for my peace of mind, 

No approvals were essential, 

My perseverance spoke loud. 

If winter comes can spring be far behind? 

There he is my love waiting! 

Miracles, truly yes, 

A sojourn too far, 

Entering into another lease of life,

Butterfly feelings, 

Weird yet loving it, 

A person to honor my love is here,  

Travelled miles to meet him, 

To experience our growth together.

Wrapped up into a love bundle, 

This is crazy, 

This is awkward, 

Special new beginnings, 

The tender new love, 

Let's cherish together, 

The bond freshly bloomed, 

That time can't shatter!
