My First Love

The first time I started feeling

That your presence is enough to make me smile,

Even though your heart couldn't be mine...

But the pain is deepening, hurting me ever since,

The day I knew this thought will leave my heart in mince.

Your eyes were like a tide that made me forget my loss and pain,

I started to cherish and love every moment you took part in.

I was sufficed by your smile from miles part,

It was enough to make me red

Absurd it seems in the eyes of those, where love revolves around in bed,

Daydreaming of you in school.

Your laughter still echoes in my mind

I am tired of moving on.

My brain and heart always end up in a fight,

No matter what my final destination was,

I chased every step, just to get your sight.

The canvas was painted with all shades of blue,

As long you held the brush, it all seemed true.

And now, the time has passed like sand,

While my physical being is adulting, my mind is still in school.

And now with what seems sate, just one thing appeared to be true,

Even a hundred years and on, all my eyes want is you.
