My Failure

Yes, I have failed in my life

All those bitter truths and comforting lies

I can't explain what I am going through all this time

When everyone else is on cloud nine

Maybe now my parents' expectations cannot rise

They too have got tears in their eyes

I am too helpless to place the things right

Just wishing it to be a nightmare of a common night

But soon a day will come

When all the wounds would heal

And on that day

I will be back with another zeal
